SIGN of the Times: CAPRICORN
This Capricorn is my daughter-in-law; married over 25 years to my #1 son. Interesting how so many
females in my family carry the Earth Signatures.
In synastry, one can see how my chart works with hers, but it's fun to see if I can find myself in her chart. I
learned this method years ago from Ivy Jacobson's books, but the system could be much older than that.
First, her husband is represented by the 7th house. Hmmm, very interesting that he is a Pisces. His
mother would be either the 4th or 10th house from the 7th (which happen to be her 4th/10th axis). So, her
Mother and Father are represented by the same planets as her husband's Mother and Father. However,
they could be reversed; her mother and his father could be ruled by the 10th house and her father and his
mother could be ruled by the 4th house. They don't necessarily have to be the same gender in the same
house. To get a bit more confusing; they all could be ruled by the two houses at various
times....sometimes I could be a Jupiter to her and other times I could be a pesky, Capricornian Mercury.
See what I mean? I think, mostly, I'm the eccentric Uranus in the 12th!
Looking at her 4th house New Moon in Sagittarius denotes a new soul cycle concerning home and family.
The ruler of her 10th is in the 4th and the ruler of her 4th is in the 6th house of daily service, dharma,
health, etc. One could carry this system further by noting the aspects; Jupiter is trine Neptune in the 2nd
house of assets and also oppose Uranus and Pluto in the 12th. One of the family has money, one is
eccentric, one is bossy and, with Mercury semisquare Jupiter, there can be lots of petty arguments going
on. Isn't this fun?
You could go on and on with this, but I don't want to invoke Mercury semisquare Jupiter!
Our families are very close and my daughter-in-law is truly my daughter; sometimes my mother, and one of
my best friends. My ascendant is the Midpoint of her Capricorn stellium and her ascendant is trine my Sun.
I believe she feels the same about me.
