When I think about the legend of how the asteroids were made, see LEGEND, I can imagine big ole Venus
rolling along, smashing into planet M, calling out, "Come on girls, let's get some female energy into this
solar system!"  At that time, the only female energy recognized was the Moon. Planet M became two,
"
M and       " with a stinger (from whence the candy was named) and Libra came to be;10 planets became
12! Venus settled into her orbit and took on Libra as her mate and Mars as her axis. She still rotates
backwards from all her efforts, but something had to be done and Neptune's babygirl did it!

Because two earth Signs have new rulerships, the modern decans are different.  Below is a list of decans:

Planetary Rulerships
Always there have been discussions
concerning what planets rule what Signs.
When I was studying Astrology in the late
60's I learned the Ancient rulerships and
how they came about.

Putting the Sun and Moon in the middle, it
followed very naturally that five Signs would
be on each side with the rulerships of
Mercury,Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn
following.

When Uranus, Neptune and Pluto were
discovered, they each displaced one of the
seven bodies; Uranus took over the
rulership of Aquarius, Neptune over Pisces,
and Pluto over Scorpio.  Those
transpersonal planets became known as
the upper octaves of Mercury, Venus, and
Mars respectively. It all went very easy.

Now, we've got more to discuss. The
astronomers can demote Pluto all they
want, he's still the lord of life and death to
astrologers.  But, what about Ceres,
Chiron,  Eris, and the rest?

If Eris had been named, Persephony, I
would have given her to Taurus with no
hesitation.  However, I won't give Eris to
anyone; at least not yet.

Ceres, earthly and nurturing goes with
Taurus and she makes a good axis with
her enemy, Pluto/Hades. Venus always
goes with Mars.  Chiron, as educator,
couples with precise Virgo, ruler of high
and trade schools. Chiron is a good
balance to Neptune, the dreamy,
compassionate, and Oneness planet.

All of this is simply my opinion.  I had it
differently yesterday, but a dream made me
switch Ceres and Chiron.
From this month of Virgo, I will change Henry's
mandalas at each decan.  That way, I'll get to show so
much more of his wonderful work.  Thank's Henry!
