The Balsamic phase of the Moon begins when the Moon is 45 degrees waxing from the Sun and
moving towards the New Moon Phase which then is, for about 3 days called, "Dark of the Moon".
The very speedy Moon is in the Sign of Gemini, but in her own most comfortable House, the 4th, and
making a very obvious applying opposition to Pluto in the 10th house. Interesting that Mercury is
conjunct the Sun and and making sesquares to Uranus who squares the Moon. If Mars were further
along in the Zodiac, we'd have a grand mutable cross. Instead, we have two mutable t-squares.
The degree of the Moon is 22 Gemini of which Chandra Dhi Manthri says:
"Thou art the friend of the multitudes, but they may know thee not, failing to see the source of the benefits which
thou pourest out upon them..."
Interesting that Venus is in trine to Pluto while at the same time contraparallel. Venus is also in
opposition to Neptune and quincunx Uranus. Makes us wonder if pride and negative self-love needs
to be addressed before we evolve in consciousness. All of the transpersonal planets are retrograde
at this time; perhaps to give us time to work on those negative qualities of our personality hanging
'round.
