Summer is here! The Cancer Ingress chart concerns the next three months, or the season of
Summer. Today is the Summer Solstice; the longest day of the year and the Sun has reached the
Northern most path of his Eastern rising and Western setting. In three days he will rise just a bit
more Southeast than today and more South every day until the Autumnal Equinox (equal day and
night) in September and continuing Southward until the Capricorn Winter Solstice (shortest day of
the year) when the Sun again is reborn and journeys Northward. Solstice means "stands still."
The last aspect the Sun made was an opposition to Pluto and the next aspect will be a sextile to
Saturn. Sun/Saturn sextile from Cancer to Virgo brings a time to tidy up and discriminate between
the important and the not so important. Many of us will be cleaning out closets, garages, and
drawers this season. Some of us will be cleaning up our health and diet; some our beliefs.
The ruler of this chart is considered the Ascendant ruler, Jupiter, which is in the Sign of his fall,
semisquare the Ascendant, retrograde and in the 2nd house; Money will still be tight this season.
Then we have a YOD in this chart which always calls for a total compromise. In the center of the
U.S., this compromise concerns 9th to 2nd/4th houses so we could expect some legal actions (Mars
in Leo, 9th house) concerning home disasters, loans, foreclosures, etc. The country will need to be
practical and conpassionate with the public who are in need concerning their homes. (Moon in
Capricorn, 2nd house, sextile Uranus in Pisces, 4th house). We must take better care of our people.

Hope you had a bit of a laugh over the center of the U.S. being in the middle of a hog farm. That
