Today is the 2nd day after Christmas and I feel like I'm on a holding pattern, waiting....waiting...waiting.
Well, actually, I am. My second son and his family are on their way from Houston to here. I just can't wait to
see them. Lou is my son, Susan is his wife, Olivia and Sophia are their daughters, and Bella and Josie
are their dogs. They'll be bouncing in here about 9 pm tonight.
Where did all the Carols and Sues come from in my family? I was the first born in my family and my Mom
and Dad named me Janet Sue after my Mom and her Grandma Sue. They called me Sue. Then they had
their second daughter and they named her, Carol, because she was born close to Christmas.
When I got married, I named my daughter, Carol and my sister named her daughter, Susan, after me
although I'm really not a Susan. Now, there were two Carols and a Sue &1/2, sort'a.
Here comes the hard part. My first son married a Carol. Then, my second son married a Susan.
Sun Dec 28, 2008. We had a lovely day here with the whole family except Melissa, who had to do double
shifts at her work. The dogs all got along today; only one snarl when Josie, the baby, tried to go into my
bedroom where my Lily is Queen.
By tomorrow I need to make my intention for this new Moon in Capricorn which falls in my 12th house. For
the world I wish for more compassion and acceptance between peoples in religion and politics. For our
country, I wish the same, but also wish for economic balance. For myself I intend to meditate for more
patience, peace, and joy in our family and home.

Thurs. Jan 1, 2009. Happy New Year to ALL. May our world find compassion, joy, love, and peace

Fri; Jan 2, 2009. All the kids and dogs left for Texas this morning. It's really
lonely around here; no noise, no barking, or anything. I just hear the washer

Here we are at the end of the first week in January. Same old, same old around here. Enough to make one
depressed!! However, January is my 9 month in my 8 year so many things need to come to a close. I'll have
to make my list. First off is my membership at Curves. It seems I'll never stick to any kind of routine in a gym
or exercise place. I'm going to edit that OUT of my life.

Later in the day. Well I've been thinking a lot today. The Sun is lighting up my approach to life, how I see
the world, my shoulds and oughts. I did quit Curves by e-mail and told them I would be over to say goodbye. I
also quit the vet who is so darn far away that it takes 25 minutes to get there and my dog hates the place.
I was thinking this morning about all the changing I try to do. Why do I think that something is so drastically
wrong with me that I have to change all the time? Well, with Pluto ruling my 10th and in the 7th, guess why???

I deleted it. AHHHHH, I feel much better for having written it, but no need to share it today. It was true, but truth
has a way of changing faces after expression and more deep thought.
Today is a beautiful day; the first in a long time it seems. I received an e-mail from our leader in Change for
America group. We are now called United for Change: Choctawhatchee Bay. We have our first
assignment for MLK weekend and are raring to go. I'm so glad to be involved again.
