Crescent Phase of CANCER new Moon
Thurs. June 25, 2009.                                                                 Keywords:  Intentions, wishes, hopes.
The crescent phase of the Moon begins at the semisquare of the Moon to the Sun and ends at the 90º
square.  A semisquare is 45º and is calculated by dividing the 360º circle by 8.  We could say that it
begins with resistance (45º) and ends with a fresh action (90º).  If the crescent semisquare is the
intention, the square is the action; then the sesquare (135º) is the reaction towards the action.

How do you figure the semisquare when it isn't apparent?  Below are the rules:

If the degree of the planet is lower than 15, add 15 to it and go up a quality. (The qualities are cardinal,
fixed, and mutable.) If the planet is higher than 15, subtract 15 and go back a quality.

Today's Cancer Sun is 4 Cardinal.  Add 4 to 15 and that = 19 fixed.  There is the Moon at 19 Leo and
Venus/Mars at 18-19 Taurus and in semisquare.  If anything were at 19 Aquarius and/or Scorpio, the
Sun would be sequiquadrate or sesquare (135º).

I'm not crazy about Sun opposite Pluto across the 1st and 7th Houses.  That seems very pointed and raw
concerning US and THEM. The Moon moving into that fixed T-square from the 8th House to the 2nd and
5th deems no good for money, assets, stock market and all those good things.  I haven't looked at the
stock market yet this morning; better get off my duff.

This is rather an "angry" looking chart.  Venus rules the 10th house of the President and Mars/Pluto rules
congress and they're all involved in T-squares and  T-semisquares .  Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!  Health care is ruled by
Mercury in the 6th House squaring Saturn who's always hanging on for, "wait, wait, wait; get it perfect!"

Jupiter is parallel Neptune and working fast for another bump 'n grind.  Let us pray...

Later:  While doing my daily reading, I came upon this from www.souledout.com:

The United Nations is convening a three-day summit of world leaders from 24 to 26 June 2009 at its
New York Headquarters to assess the worst global economic downturn since the Great Depression.
The aim is to identify emergency and long-term responses to mitigate the impact of the crisis,
especially on vulnerable populations, and initiate a needed dialogue on the transformation of the
international financial architecture, taking into account the needs and concerns of all Member States.

Very interesting; today's chart is right on!   Someone is consulting an Astrologer to arrange the timing,
no?  To read more, click
