The crescent phase of the Moon begins at the semisquare of the Moon to the Sun. A semisquare is 45
degrees and is calculated by dividing the 360 degree circle by 8. The number 8 signifies big business,
among other things, but in the Washington, D.C. chart for the crescent phase, the Moon is in the House of
our Home and the Sun is in the House of Communication.
Today is the debate in the House of Representatives for or against the so-called bailout bill. We can expect
some resistance on this bill today and probably lots of revision going on. Perhaps we won't get a solid vote
until the next Lunar phase on Tuesday October 7th.
The Saturn opposition Uranus in the money Houses is really apropos of what's going on and between
whom. I don't know why we call them, "parties" when they're more like battles.
