The crescent phase of the Moon begins at the semisquare of the Moon to the Sun and ends at the 90º square. A semisquare is 45º and is calculated by dividing the 360º circle by 8. We could say that it begins with resistance (45º) and ends with a fresh action (90º). If the crescent semisquare is the intention, the square is the action; then the sesquare (135º) is the reaction towards the action.
Today's Crescent phase is set up for Washington, D.C. The Moon has just finished a sextile to Neptune and is Void of course until she enters her favorite Sign, Taurus. She will then trine Pluto as her first major aspect.
The Sun is moving towards an opposition to Saturn Rx and will enlighten for the time whatever Saturn represents. Remember who goes around whom. The Pisces Sun will then conjunct Uranus in Pisces and spread a bit of compassion around the old Daddy of Saturn. Perhaps the Sun will end the rift between them after all these eons. It's always been my imagination that one can't control the first transpersonal planet, Uranus, until one has suffered, understood, and accepted the wound of Chiron. Remember that Chiron's orbit is between Saturn, the old, cultural, and traditional planet and Uranus, the new, untrod, transpersonal realm. Read a wonderful mythic tale of Saturn and Uranus HERE!
Note that Saturn is making quincunxes to nearly all of the planets in Aquarius. Being Rx in Virgo, he is called upon to adjust to the many different voices of friends and enemies of the time (7th House) as well as financial relations with foreign countries (8th House).
Our President, as well as we the people are ruled by the Moon and Venus sextile Mars. Venus is going Rx soon so we may have some time before all of our intentions can manifest.
