| Disseminating phase of the Cancer New Moon |
This is such an interesting chart! For one thing it is almost a perfect see-saw (half the planets on one side
and the other half on the other side). In Lebanon, KS, the O Cardinal degree is on all the angles. This chart
happens to be in equal house system.
The disseminating phase begins with a sesquare (sesquiquadrate) of 135 degrees; a combination of
square and semisquare. So, we have the action of the square along with the frustration of the semisquare.
I think that the keywords to distribute and share make us all a bit shaky with the responsibility.
Interesting that of all the so-called hard aspects, the sesquare is the only one that forms between the same
element; air to air, fire to fire, earth to earth, and water to water. That, to me, makes it rather special and, as
the Lunar cycle is progressive in it's meaning, this phase has special meaning. Up to this point we were
wrapped up with our personal intentions, aims, and goals. Now we have to bring others into the picture,
give forth, and share. Figuring out how to do that is nearly as difficult as making the intentions.
We can get a hint from the Signs and Houses of the Sun and Moon. The Cancer Moon is at 29 degrees of
Cancer, in the 4th House, but going up the steps to the 5th House Leo where it is most at home. It's almost
as if he wants to get one more lesson in before he's finished with Cancer. What could that lesson be? I can
imagine it to be about home and family, compassion, karma, passing down to children, forgiving angry
and bitter words.
Sun in Cancer = family. Moon in Pisces =compassion and karma. Passing down to children = YOD
between Moon/Jupiter = part of fortune in 5th. Forgiveness of angry and bitter words = Moon separating
opposition to Mars/Saturn. So in short, forgiveness and compassion within the family and, thereby,
teaching one's children by example.
