1st Quarter of the Virgo New Moon 2009
Sat. Sept 26, 2009                                                                   Keywords:  Challenges, decisions, action.
The first quarter chart is about a week after the New Moon and, consequently, the first 90º square
between the Moon and Sun. Squares can offer challenges or conflicts because of the tangential,
immediate change of direction.  Things go along in a direction, say East to West, then switch
immediately either North or South; it's like turning a corner and running into an unleashed, snarling dog.

So what snarling dog might we expect to meet as we turn this corner? The ruler of the chart, which is the
ruler of the rising Sign or Ascendant is the
Moon.  The Capricorn Moon is very ultra-conservative,
conjunct the power planet, Pluto (in the House of Health Care) and square not only the Sun (which
represents the President) but the 10th House which is the area that concerns the President.  What have
the ultraconservatives got up their sleeve now?

The ruling planet of the President's 10th House, Mars, is conjunct the 1st House of the People.  He is so
for the people; I don't see how anyone can't see that. This man is giving his life to the people of this
country and some of them don't even get it.

The next four days could be very discouraging to so many of us.  We must keep positive; send out
blessings to the President and Congress that they may agree with the health care proposal that is the
best for all concerned.

What we all could do, also, each and every one of us; get on a health program to make ourselves the
best we can be; physically, mentally, and spiritually. When one of us holds up a small piece of our earth's
net, the whole net is uplifted, maybe for just a nano second, but it counts!
