Today begins the first quarter Moon which falls one week from the new Moon. Since it is the first
square between the Sun and the Moon, it can signal crises that call for making decisions and
resolve. It denotes a need for fortitude and determination; a time of challenges and action. This first
quarter Moon, then, is the three day period that we should take action on our intentions, hopes, and
plans for this lunar period.
We have the critical degree of 29º on the 1st and 7th Houses with Pluto, the ruler of the 11th House,
Congress, conjunct the 1st House of our citizens. That could indicate that Congress is trying to
"lord" it over its citizens. Hmmm, could that be??? Pluto rules despots and tyrants, you know.
Venus has completed the trines to the triAquarians in our money and assets 2nd House and now
she is approaching the opposition to our citizens and, then, Pluto. Everybody's talkin' and nobody's
listening; about health care, about economy, about anything. She's almost exactly square Uranus in
the 3rd House of communication and, with Uranus, anything might happen.
The part of fortune is exactly square the 1st/7th angles and not much is going to be done by talking
right now anyway. Nobody's listening and holding tight to their own, same old, same old opinions.
I don't know what's going to happen. I just keep hoping and wishing for the best for us, but I don't
know how to deal with such negativity and hate that's going around, especially by e-mail and TV.
We have got to come together in some way and think of the whole rather than our own small piece.
How do we get people to do that? "Love your neighbor as yourself" seems like a long ago and far
away dream somebody mentioned. It does not seem to be working through the very same people
who profess it. How sad we are, how dangerous, how lost.

Friday July 31, 2009. Last night at midnight the "Cash for Clunkers" ended. It was the most
successful deal we the people were given in a long time. I hear that there might be an extension of
2 billion more. I wrote my congresspersons and the President an e-mail asking for them to vote for
it. I hope they listen. I'll take the vulture divider off for now and put it on the CEOs making million
dollar retirement payoffs from our $700,000, 000, 000 stimulus boner. I think many somebodies are
trying to do right in congress.
