Barbara Hand Clow says, "...during the New Moon we integrate our feelings (Moon) with our central
purpose (Sun)."  I love that!

GEMINI New Moon
Sun. May 24, 2009                                               Keywords: New Intentions, fresh start, page one.
Gemini is called, mutable, meaning that he is the changing season between Spring and Summer.  Just
like the changing season, Gemini is a changer alright!  He's changes in the twinkling of an eye!  My Dad
was a Gemini. Geminis can sell me anything; I always believe their spiel.  They have a marvelous sense
of humor and I always get their jokes; not everyone does.  However, don't think that they are always nice.
My Dad had an awful temper; must have been his rising Sign.

I've been debating with myself about whether to do the Lunar Phases in Koch or Equal Houses.  This is
debated by various Astrologers.  Both make sense if you look at them a certain way.  So, I may find
myself going back and forth between the two and strictly through bias and which one I like best; no good
reason.  I discussed House Systems in my
THESIS and decided I liked Koch Houses better because he
was German, was the most recent, and Robert Hand used him. I figure anything that Rob Hand uses has
to be the best mathematically, because he knows more than anyone I know.

Venus catches up with Mars on June 21st.  It's going to be a long, hot Summer!  No major, applying
aspects in this Gemini new Moon chart except Mars sextile Neptune and Venus sextile all the planets in
Aquarius. Opportunities, opportunities, but not much else for this new beginning time. Remember that
the 11th House represents Congress and the 9th House denotes foreign affairs.  The Midheaven 10th
House represents President Obama.  His rulers (Jupiter and Neptune) are in the 9th House and they
sextile Venus and Mars in the 10th House.  That's good for opportunities for our President and Congress
to come together on foreign affairs.  However, retrograde Mercury squaring the 9th House planets shows
opposition from some corner (always, always). Mercury doesn't come out of his shadow until Monday
June 15th, so expect some news that day or week.

Interesting bit; Mars and Saturn are parallel.
