Tonight, I plan to go downtown to the boardwalk about Sunset and watch the Moon rise. I'll be able to meditate by the ocean and watch the heavens glow with the full Moon. This is such a holy time; I can feel it in my bones. It's really interesting; I looked at my solar return today and the Sun hits Vesta on the SR chart and my South Node on my natal chart. This could be a time when I finish up a lot of karma, hopefully. I'm going to ask Len to go with me. We'll see... Moonrise is 7:15 tonight, Saturday, in Fort Walton Beach. Sunset is 7: 47. I will spend my time at the beach to meditate from 7:30 to 7:47 pm CDT. My time on WORLD INVOCATION DAY VIGIL is 10pm CDT. The exact full Moon is 1:12pm CDT, Sunday the 7th here in Fort Walton Beach.

Fri. June 12, 2009. Of course, I never give up. Just today I found a beautiful page dedicated to Blessings. Here is the vow I made: I will suspend all judgment and will, instead, bless every person and situation I encounter, both those I physically meet and those that simply come to mind. I will actively search for the blessing in every circumstance and in those times when none can be found, I will trust that the blessing will be revealed when the time is right. I will daily express an attitude of gratitude, for all the blessings in my life, even those I cannot see. Whenever I feel stressed, pressed or confused, I will take a Blessing Breather, quieting my mind for a moment and focusing only on my breath, breathing deeply and slowly. With each inhalation, I will mentally affirm "I am so blessed" and with each exhalation, I will mentally affirm "I am a blessing to the world," repeating the process at least three times and allowing my body to relax completely before returning to the task at hand. I understand that in accepting this challenge, there is a distinct possibility that my life will be forever changed for the better. I am willing to take the risk. If you want to see the BLESSING page. I love this! You can also read my page on Blessings HERE; Capturing the Energy of Neptune; the Blessing.
Sat. June 13, 2009. For the next 30 days I'm going to keep a record of how this Blessing vow works for me. That was suggested on the Blessing site somewhere. I find it rather funny and human that I found this site just after I got so "hot" about people criticizing President Obama for having his feet up on the desk while talking to Israel on the telephone. Ok, I bless that situation and all the ones who criticized it and those who made a big to-do about it in the media. I bless myself for buying into it and President Obama who had to be the brunt of it. I bless the photographer who took the picture. I bless the Israelis and Arabs who felt hurt and angered and suspected insult. I bless us ALL. What I noticed yesterday is that some chores around the house tend to arouse a complaining/ whining response from me. I bless those situations and myself as I tend to things that simply need to be done. I bless the fact that I can do them and am grateful that I have things to tend to. I bless the Universe for being so kind to me.
Sun. Jun 14, 2009. I'm a day behind in this. I write in the morning; not at night. My assignment; Think of three separate experiences in your past that you originally determined to be bad, or difficult or uncomfortable, and then later realized a benefit from. That is really difficult and I can't think of anything at the moment. Later. OK, here goes: 1. Emotional/Mental breakdown 1979. When I recovered I had much more compassion for those with mental/emotional problems. I found out that, "what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger." 2. Breast cancer in 2007. Again I found out that I was stronger than what didn't kill me. 3. I could mention arthritis, heart attack, diabetes, and bleeding colitis, but I've yet to realize a benefit from any of those. However, if only bad people get diseases, then I have a lot of nasty stuff in me and a lot to learn from them. However, I'm not too sure that I buy into that theory. Today's affirmation: "I am willing to see the good in every experience." Yes I am willing and I'll think on it more. The first words I vowed: I will suspend all judgment...

...your task for today is to look for the blessing. Pick any challenging situation occurring in your life right now and determine to find the blessing -- the goodness -- within it. Instead of focusing on its negative aspects, choose instead, to focus on any good that might come out of it...record three aspects of the situation that you consider to be good in your Blessing Way Journal. Today's affirmation: "I am surrounded by blessings and I am determined to see them." One challenging situation in my life right now is my husband's deafness. One of the good things of this is that I have to learn to slow down, face him, and let him see my lips as I speak rather than talking as I walk or with my back to him. We'll both be happier and less frustrated. I think trying to find two more blessings in this challenge is asking too much. Tues. June 16, 2009. ...in today's exercise, you'll let your thoughts move up and down the emotional keyboard and then record your observations in your Blessing Way Journal. Today's affirmation: "My entire being vibrates with love and joy and peace. I am truly blessed." I watched my emotional keyboard at the beginning of the day and it did go up and down; tears of compassion for an e-mail with pictures of our military and tender smiles at a video of a boy and his dog. I don't even have to DO the exercise, I just open my e-mail. I am truly blessed with my friends on the internet. I am so blessed and I ask that the blessings coming to me pass through me to all.
Wed. June 17, 2009. If you have any doubts about your own ability to be a blessing, then put those doubts into words and write them in your Blessing Way Journal. That is all you need do today. Today's affirmation: "What if it is my both right and my responsibility to be a blessing to my world?" I have no doubts about my own or anyone's ability to be a blessing. We are either all ONE or all NOTHING; oneness or nothingness. If we are all one, anything one thinks, says, and does affects all others. If we are all nothing, nothing matters. Could it be that some of us are a little "something?" NAH! Since I'm a Capricorn rising, I feel my responsibilities heavier than my rights. It's a Capricorn's cross to carry mental responsibility and guilt to the inth degree (until we learn about blessings). With blessings foremost in our minds, we can lay down our crosses and relax.
Thurs. June 18, 2009. Today's exercise: Think of someone you know well and would like to bless. With your eyes closed, imagine this person standing before you in the center of a cluttered and chaotic space. This clutter and chaos represents all the thoughts and feelings and judgments this person has about his own life, as well as all the thoughts, feelings and opinions you and others now hold or have held concerning him. Now imagine a shimmering light filling the space the subject of your blessing is standing in, and as it does so, all the clutter dissolves away, leaving the space around him clear and clean and open. No longer pressed by the complexity of his own thoughtforms and those of others, he is now free to stretch and grow and become all his larger Self would have him be. Stay with this vision in your mind for a few seconds, or as long as it feels good for you to do so, and then release the image by saying either to yourself or aloud, "May you be so blessed." Now open your eyes, take a deep breath and step back into full awareness of your surroundings. Today's affirmation: "In blessing others, I am blessed" I did it. I love it!

Choose an object or a space that you would like to bless, close your eyes and imagine a connection between you and the object or space being established. It may be that you will visualize a golden cord connecting you, or perhaps you'll see a field of light surrounding you and then expanding to surround the object or space you have chosen to bless. Just use whatever imagery or technique works best for you and/or seems appropriate at the moment. You need only be able to feel some kind of connection between yourself and the target of your blessing. Now imagine this light or energy surrounding, transforming, healing and impregnating the space or object with love and light and healing. It does not take long to send forth this kind of blessing, no more than a few seconds, at most, and you'll know you have completed the blessing process when you feel your energy or attention toward it begin to wane. As it does, imagine that all the light you have sent out being drawn back into you, filling your heart and being absorbed by your physical body. Now simply give thanks that the space or object is blessed, allow yourself a deep, cleansing breath, and then return to your normal activity. Today's affirmation: "As I bless the world around me I am blessed in return." Today's quote: The easiest way to 'bless' something is to simply give God thanks for it! " -- Author Unknown I did this. Feels good.
Sat. June 20, 2009. Today's exercise: Close your eyes and smile. Now let that smile spread throughout your body, saturating every organ, every muscle, every bone, soaking into your pores until every single ounce of you is smiling. Just imagine that every cell and molecule that makes up your body, even your DNA strands, are all happy and smiling and filled with well-being and joy. Just smile all over and let yourself really, really, really feel it. Now send it forth, wrapped in a blessing, knowing that just like a ray of sunshine, it will go forward to warm the heart of the recipient, spreading out to cheer, uplift and inspire all who are touched by it. Today's affirmation: "My smile is a blessing." My theme song in my senior year book was: "Let a Smile be Your Umbrella". Ye gods, I need some Agrimony!
Sun June 21, 2009. Happy Father's Day. Today's exercise: Think of a difficult person currently in your life or one who has caused you trouble in the past. Find a quiet spot and take a few minutes to calm your mind and settle into a feeling of being connected to your inner spirit. Now bring the difficult person into your thoughts and imagine this person as a small child, somewhere between three and six years of age. Look deeply into his or her eyes and see the hurt and pain residing there. All this child wants is your love and compassion. That's really all he or she has ever wanted. Reach out your arms and take him or her into your arms and let this little child know how much your love it, how very much you care. Comfort this child and let him or her know you will always be here. Do this until you begin to feel the child's longings subsiding, and you sense that his or her little body is being filled with peace and love. Now wrap this mental image in love, place it in your heart and then imagine your heart filling with shimmering light that grows and expands until it touches every corner of the universe. Feel the warmth this love light brings to your heart center, and become aware of new sensation of softness and gentleness enveloping you. This child is now safely cradled in the center of all the love you have within you. Now feel this love flowing from your heart to the heart of the individual as he or she is today. Either aloud or to yourself, say simply, "May you be blessed," and sense that on some level this person hears your blessing and is instantly comforted by it.* Take a deep breath, release the image and step back into the current moment. Your blessing has been sent forth. Today's affirmation: "There is so much love in my heart that I can heal the world." I did not do this exercise. I have someone in mind that I will do it with, but I'm not in the right spirit to do so today.
Mon. June 22, 2009. Today is the last day that I will use this journal for my Blessing Way Journal. This journal is for other things. Today's exercise: Choose an object, a person, a place, or a situation you would like to bless and spend a few minutes pouring your heart, your mind and your soul into the act of blessing. When you have finished, observe how you feel about what you have just blessed and about how your feel about yourself. Document your observations in your Blessing Way Journal. Today's affirmation: "In every sacred moment, I leave a blessing." Today's quote: "To bless is to acknowledge the omnipresent, universal beauty hidden from material eyes; it is to activate the law of attraction which, from the furthest reaches of the universe, will bring into your life exactly what you need to experience and enjoy." -- Pierre Pradervand, "The Gentle Art of Blessing"
