Waxing Gibbous Phase of the Moon
|

The gibbous phase of the Moon is most interesting because it begins with a sesquare of 135 degrees, works
through a quincunx of 150 degrees, and ends in a full Moon opposition. It can easily be the most difficult time
of the Lunar phases. Sesquares, or sesquiquadrates, are a combination of the frustrating semisquare plus the
conflict of the square: 45 x 2 = 90, 45 x 3 = 135.
Sesquares are different in another respect. They can form in the same element; fire to fire, earth to earth, air to
air, and water to water. However, this is not the case in this month's gibbous phase. We have air and water
this time; reminds me of a hurricane.
The Sun is in the 2nd House of our assets and has just past a square to big daddy Jupiter in the 5th of
speculation. Everything else kind'a vortexes down to Pluto in the 4th House of home and family. Pluto is only
moving one minute a day, just taking his old sweet time in Sagittarius while we struggle to get a handle on this
economic disaster.
The Sun is also contra-parallel Saturn keeping "us and our money" apart and depressed.
