Waxing Gibbous Phase of the Moon
Check out my favorite Sage:
Aquarius Papers
The gibbous phase of the Moon is most interesting because it begins with a sesquare of 135 degrees,
works through a quincunx of 150 degrees, and ends in a full Moon opposition. It can easily be the most
difficult time of the Lunar phases. Sesquares, or sesquiquadrates, are a combination of the frustrating
semisquare plus the conflict of the square: 45 + 90 = 135.

Sesquares are different in another respect. They can form in the same element; fire to fire, earth to earth,
air to air, and water to water. In the above chart, 20 degrees of Taurus (Earth) is also a sesquare aspect.
20 degrees of Scorpio and Aquarius are semisquares to the five degree Capricorn Moon.

This particular gibbous Moon phase is Capricorn to Leo, a natural Zodiacal quincunx. The serious,
practical nature of the Capricorn Moon does not blend well with the flamboyant, fiery Leo. It is a time of
adjustments and, perhaps, compromise. The Sun in a fire Sign in a water House can provide a lot 'o
steam!

In EDT, with the Sun in the 7th, it doesn't get much better; Sun in an Air House (7th) and Moon in a water
House (12th) c
reate a LOT of humidity!
The HEAT is on!
