The top Last Quarter Moon Phase chart
is from my favorite town, Lebanon,
Kansas and the chart to the right is the
same moment from Washington D.C.
You do know why I use Lebanon, KS for
most of my charting examples? It is in
the very middle of the continental U. S.
which, I figure, is the best place to use;
not too far to the Atlantic; not to far to
the Pacific, not too hot; not too cold, but
juuuuuuuuust right. See HERE!
Because there is one hour difference
between Eastern and Central clock time,
the Houses will set up differently from
Washington to Lebanon, KS.
Remembering that each House is worth
about two hours and begins at Sunrise
on the Ascendant, you can tell the
approximate clock time by which House
the Sun is in.
The approximate hours of clock time
denoted by the Sun in the Houses are:
12th House = 6 to 8 am
11th House = 8 to 10 am
12th House = 10 am to 12 pm
9th House = 12 to 2 pm
8th House = 2 to 4 pm
7th House = 4 to 6 pm
6th House = 6 to 8 pm
5th House = 8 to 10 pm
4th House = 10 pm to 12 am
3rd House = 12 to 2 am
2nd House = 2 to 4 am
1st House = 4 to 6 am

If you have your birth chart erected, you will find that the House the Sun
is in tells your approximate time of birth according to the clock. This is
one of the ways Astrologers used to check if they had erected the chart
correctly before computers. If a client were born around Midnight and
the Sun appeared in the 9th House, chartwise, the Astrologer knew right
away that she or he had made a mistake somewhere in figuring.

getting "into" another person; walking in their shoes and seeing through
their eyes. It was a tremendously meditative exercise and, although
tough to learn, made adults out of the Astrologers of that Time. We were

with by some of our family and friends. I had a whole table of women
stand up, make awful comments about devil's work, and march out of
the room where I was speaking at a Business Women's Club meeting.

Phase...

The keywords for this phase of the Moon according to Moonsurfing.com is crisis in consciousness and revise. My
Mercury Rx in Taurus loves to revise. Noting the aspects above, the closest applying aspect that the Moon makes
is a tredecile to Jupiter. Robert Wilkinson says:
This is a highly specialized aspect of 108 degrees, which besides being a mythological "Sacred number" symbolizing
Divine Mother Energy, is also the complementary angle to the Quintile. Thus the Tredecile indicates a very special type of
unique energy that complements whatever uniqueness, gifts, or specialized quintessence are occurring at the moment in a
situation.
I have seen this aspect operate in several fashions, and all seem to involve a circumstance presenting itself that perfectly
fits a unique gift or need, or a gift or unique quality that fits the need of a pre-existing circumstance. The Tredecile is
complementary, interactive, and specialized, the "quintessence" of a thing perfectly complementing the "quintessence" of a
circumstance. When active, it seems to bring forth unique qualities in situations that involve interaction to bring forth
awareness, completion, polarization, or re-polarization. The points opposite the planets in Tredecile are often associated
with how the energies manifest, some need being fulfilled, some promise brought to expression, or some specialized gift or
talent completed. I have given it the keyword "SERENDIPITY."
