Who is the most famous Leo we know? Bill Clinton, of course! I would suppose that his chart has
been discussed more than any other in the past 10 years, but I can't let that stop me from looking and
wondering.
Because I've been looking at a lot of locomotive type charts lately, Bill's really stopped me in my tracks
with this observation; he leads in life with his sweet, l'il o'le Taurus Moon in the 8th, goes through
whatever situation is happening and ends up with lucky Jupiter swinging his tail and smelling like a
rose. Even when it looks like he is losing, Bill just can't lose! That doesn't mean he doesn't have to
compromise, adjust, or wriggle out of things. His whole life is wrapped up into the quincunx between
Moon in Taurus and Jupiter in Libra, both bowing to Venus in Libra. He's a winner! However, with all
that Venus gorgeousness, Venus is still as far away from the Leo Sun as it can be; not always acting in
the best interest of Spirit and not always as it appears (conjunct Neptune, square Midheaven).
Bill's chart looks so simple, but it is so very complicated with that glob in Libra and another glob in Leo.
That sextile is a perfect base for long-term quincunxes by the slower moving and outer planets and
many short term quincunxes by the inner and faster planets. In fact, the Moon hits it every month,
Mercury and the Sun every year and so on. Bill Clinton must feel that his whole life is one huge,
continual compromise! And just look where the axis falls; in the 6th house of daily service, dharma,
co-workers, and health. The Sign on the cusp is Pisces whose one perfect keyword is, "sacrifice!"
Self-righteous people can judge Bill Clinton all they want, but this is a man whose very being speaks of
kindness, gentleness, along with the power to influence others in a positive way. His chart shows the
potential of greatness and he walks in the company of angels. Day by day,as he goes along
performing his daily tasks, whether large or small, as the most powerful president in the world,
companion to a potential one, or simply a servant of the people, he is living the promise of his birth
