Leo New Moon 2009 Journal
Thurs. August 20, 2009                    Keywords:  Fresh start, new beginnings, intentions, and hopes.
Here we are, again, at the New Moon.  This time the new Moon is in the Sign of Kings and we do have a
new young king as our President.  I am so pleased with him. He is struggling so to make the right moves
for us.  I send him blessings and prayers every day.  I do believe that he just might be a new political
Avatar for our times. Read
AVATARS and see if President Obama doesn't fall in this description
somewhere. I want to send this thought out because I want to offset, somehow, some of the criticism.
Those of us who love him must stand firm behind him and not waver in the furious storm of negativity
leveled by those who are paid to fill the air waves for hours with prejudice, gossip, and half truths.
Fri. Aug 21, 2009.  Tomorrow is Ramadan and I begin a four week course on the Koran.  I'm really
looking forward to it.  That makes three different courses I'm taking at the present time; the first course for
my doctorate, Aman Motwane's course
www.beyouberich.com ,and the Essence of the Qur'an.  Along
with keeping up my website, I've got a full plate! That's the way I like it! (Moon in Libra in the 9th House.)

Carol and I are trying to keep my journal from smushing together on Mac and Firefox.

Sat. Aug. 22, 2009.  Carol found out how to keep the journals all clear; I have to click on the vertical
justification.  I thought that was all settled by clicking on page centering in the format.  It's so nice to have
a smart daughter!

Today is the first day of Ramadan here in the States.  I'm going to take my first lesson now.   I'm excited!

Wed. Aug. 26, 2009.  Astrologically, today can be a rough day.  It's only 10:40am here and already its
not nice.  I woke up feeling awful, which is unusual when I sleep until I wake up.  Then I got a telephone
call that one of my ladyfriends has to take her High School son in for an MRI because of a football injury.

Looking at today's aspects I can see some possibilities for bad news:  Mercury squares Mars and Pluto
and, then, Mars opposes Pluto later on today.  Anything to do with Mars usually happens before the
exactitude of the aspect.

Actually, my current aspect page is all messed up even though I copied it from my Kepler program.  I'll
have to take some time to fix it.  That's a typical Mercury square Mars thing.  I probably did it too fast!

Later.  Ok, I think maybe it's been fixed.  This time when I copied the aspects, the times were different.  I
don't know exactly what happened.  I do know that I'm mistake-prone.  I guess that goes with an Rx
Mercury semi-square Saturn in the 3rd.

Thurs. Aug. 27, 2009. Yesterday I wrote that 'Anything to do with Mars usually happens before the
exactitude of the aspect.'  One of the tragic occurrences was the death of Ted Kennedy on Tuesday
night, the 25th. Mars always strikes ahead of time.

Mon. Aug. 31, 2009.  It's been a rainy, somber weekend even though I made pizza for the kids on
Sunday.  It's always good to see them, but there was a fugitive running around in my daughter's South
Walton county neighborhood for the past 3 days and I was glad she came to my house.  The fugitive
finally shot himself when the police had him cornered.

Then, it was all Ted Kennedy's funeral on the news.  That's sad in itself.  Just think, if we lived 100 years
ago, we probably wouldn't have heard about it until after the funeral.

I read in the newspaper on Saturday that my girlfriend's son (I mentioned above on Wednesday), was the
starting quarterback on our high school's football team.  Wow, I'm sure I knew that, but I didn't remember
it. The team is having a tough beginning season because three of their starters are injured.

Tues. Sept. 01, 2009. Today we enter the 2nd decan of Virgo which is the Capricorn decanate.  I have
changed the mandala on the index to reflect that.  It is hard to believe that it is September already; time
HAS speeded up; everyone notices it.

Fri. Sept. 4, 2009.  Here we are at the Pisces Full Moon of Compassion.  It is so interesting what
happened this morning.  Go back to
Pisces Full Moon  to read about President Obama and the
children.

Also, the Qu'ran and my Doctoral studies seem synchronistic many times.  I watch for synchronous
events when I'm on a certain path.  They affirm that I'm going the correct way.

Tues. Sept. 08, 2009.  Disseminating Moon.  This morning I read over the by-laws of the Spirituality
and Practice site and I'm not allowed to copy any material without their express permission.  So, I took
off my Ramadan Qur'an Quotes from all the pages. It's a shame and I feel bad about it, but I guess they
want the Qur'an exclusivity along with their comments. If I ever find out how to get their permission, I'll post
the lessons maybe next Ramadan.  We'll see.  You know, if there is only ONE mind and we all partake of
that mind, perhaps there should not be such a thing as copyright?  Get your money up front and then let
everyone take what they need or want.

Wed. Sept. 09, 2009.  This morning I found that I had listed the Current Aspects in Greenwich Time
instead of CDT.  0 Hours Greenwich is the default and, if I change anything in the report,  it goes back to
0 Hours.  I usually forget it since I'm in a hurry to color and list the aspects; my last task before showing
the New and Full Moons.

Sat. Sept. 12. 2009.  I love to come to this part of my website and listen to this song by Aretha and choir.
It is so inspiring to me. Next to Classic Rock, I love gospel the best, but it's got to be spiritual and it's got
to be Afro-American.  I guess I'm prejudiced that way.    Me and Rev. Jamie; we're two of a kind.

A rainy weekend all weekend; it's the 3rd decanate of Virgo, which is Taurus.  I changed Henry's
mandala.  It's a real Taurus beauty!

My sister's significant other died yesterday.  I will miss him.  He was very sick for a long time; she told me
he died peacefully.  May your soul travel fast to the light, Michael.  Godspeed.

Tues. Sept. 15, 2009.  Balsamic Moon Phase starts today.  All along the past month of Congress'
recess, I thought that they were reconvening today, but I looked up the schedule again and it said on the
7th of September.

The Sun has finally come out this morning.  I have never seen such rain as we had yesterday.  I thought I
would be stuck out in Niceville as I had to wade through almost a foot of water to reach my car.
