The new Moon eclipse falls in the 1st House in Central and Eastern Time Zones. In Los Angeles it
falls in the 2nd House; in London the 10th; in Baghdad the 9th House.
One of the most interesting things about this chart is that there are few applying aspects and none
with the Sun. The first applying major aspect is Venus trine Pluto.

This is the eclipse chart for
Washington, D.C. Note that is
almost exactly at Sunrise and the
ascendant is the same degree as
the Sun and Moon.
Chandra Dhi Manthri says about
the 10th degree of Leo:
"Ancient wisdom shineth in thy soul,
giving thee interpretation of the past,
both of thineself and of mankind.
Worldly art thou, subject to many calls
of the flesh and to accumulation of
comforts. But, thou putteth the good of
all above that of the one, e'en though
thou be the one; and in the end thine
estate, with all thine accumulations,
thou placest at the disposal of the
many..."
Ah, Washington, if only that would
be true; such a beautiful thought. A
Venus trine Pluto transformation of
values.
One of the ways to work with New Moon charts in your life is to note which House it falls into in the
chart of your time zone. Then, see where it falls in your own natal chart. You will have a general
message in the time zone chart ( the House in which it falls) and then, apply it to your personal
message which is in your birth chart House. The keywords of New Moons are, "new beginnings"
and "fresh starts!" A New Moon eclipse is a SUPER New Moon sometimes lasting a few years.
For instance, in the Eastern and Central time zones the new Moon Eclipse falls in the 1st house of
our physical bodies and persona. Looks like many of us may need a makeover in some way!
Now apply the idea of new beginnings of the 1st house to the House meanings of where the New
Moon falls in your chart. Check out MEANINGS OF THE HOUSES.
The New Moon eclipse in my chart happens to fall in the 7th House, but in the Sign of the 8th and
conjunct the 8th. I consider it in the 8th house and could read the personal message for me as: A
new beginning for me; taking care of my physical body; adjusting my attitudes towards daily routine
and creating a transformation in my life; body, mind, and soul.
