| This is the birth chart that I use for President Obama. I partially rectified it in November 2006 according to the facts that I could date in his autobiography and biographies. I'm not totally satisfied that it's exactly right, yet, but the 7:24 pm time makes no sense at all to me. It doesn't rectify even close to the events of his life. I suppose someone could use all the tertiary, quartiary, and zillionairy progressions and make it fit, but day for a year doesn't work at all so I don't believe it's right. I do have my rectification of his chart HERE. His Mom is described by his Gemini Moon in a T-square with Pluto/Midheaven and Chiron which shows what a humongous influence she had over his life. Though, perhaps, considered a "flower child" in her day, she was a strong and powerful woman with the new age tendencies towards astrology, healing, and metaphysics. I think President Obama is a "closet metaphysician and mystic" as well. His Mercury oppose Jupiter and T-square Neptune presents the same picture of metaphysics and mysticism opposing established religion/philosophy as well. He struggles within between his head and his heart concerning what is real and what is possible. His Moon trine Jupiter and sextile Pluto may show that he would have liked to keep on believing much of the way his Mom taught him, but his rational mind and vigorous education interfered with that desire. Of course, that Moon also partially denotes his wife and two girls, too! From just watching TV and reading about the first lady, I can't imagine anyone more different than President Obama's Mom. Although they both may be described as flowers, Mom was a wild flower; Michelle Obama, an orchid. However, all of this is speculation. They may have been a lot alike in many ways, if only in how they made President Obama feel. President Obama's prenatal eclipse occurred on February 15, 1961 at 26º Aquarius 25'. Wow! We now have the tri-Aquarius planets at that degree. This is such an auspicious time for him and our country. Of course, we all know that. This is just one more telling point. | I really love the way this author explains the prenatal eclipse. If we apply that to President Obama's birth chart we find that his gift is in communication 3rd House (duh; what a surprise) and it is being transited by the triAquarius planets right now. This tells me that he must keep the faith, himself, and communicate oneness, love, and healing to all the world. Aquarius is intercepted in his chart according to Koch. The ruler of Aquarius is way up in the 9th House conjunct the North Node of his future path. He's been a communicative leader before in a past life, but he's given the chance to do it again; differently. His gift is communication! However, he needs to stay positive and emphasize healing, faith, hope, and all those good things he's already talked about in his campaign.
