Since our country is going through such trying times right now, we need to look ahead to Libra new
Moon on Monday  to see if there are any indications concerning decisions made by congress regarding
the bail-out (awful term) over the weekend.

The chart is for the Libra new Moon in Washington, D.C.  Saturn opposition Uranus is in the 1st/7th
Houses (us and them) and the new Moon falls in the 2nd House of our assets, both Sun and Moon
squaring Jupiter in the 5th House of speculation.  Jupiter in Capricorn is trine Saturn, ruler of the 5th so
that can indicate a  gift or simply the ease of a huge surprise with Uranus involved.  The Saturn
opposition Uranus is exact on Election Day so that may involve a blast of a surprise, too.  Remember,
we haven't had a Saturn/Uranus opposition since 1965-67.

Mercury went retrograde on the day that President Bush made the dire TV message.  That could mean
that we may have communication difficulties until Mercury goes direct on October 15th or, heaven
forbid, leaves his shadow on Halloween. That's a real GOT'CHA!

The symbol of seven degrees Libra reads:

A snowy headed patriarch strides youthfully through the byways of a great city, knowing that the master is not
harmed when the hem of his robe touches the mud.

You are a healer of men's wounds, whether the wounds be of  the body or soul and numerous are those you can
aid.  You see the public's need far better than the public can and your efforts produce good fruit.

Take care in making your private contracts, lest you give more than you should for the good of him with whom
you deal. Your word is mighty.  Your own soul is often troubled, except you have chosen a wise and helpful
mate...Travel is part of your food for it sustains your spiritual needs.
(reworded from The Degrees of Life by Chanda Dhi Manthri)

Wow, that first sentence sure brings to mind 'snowy headed' John McCain, but there are lots of snowy
heads in Washington. We just have to listen and watch this weekend.  God Bless America.
