| Mon. Oct. 19, 2009. Mondays are my regular bridge playing days; it was a good day for playing bridge as it was cool and we didn't need the air conditioner. This week is one of my busy ones; four appointments and one wedding on Saturday. Sunday is dinner at the kids ;o) Tues. Oct. 20, 2009. It's time to be thinking of my intentions for the new Moon in Libra lunar phase. Libra is associated with balance, diplomacy, partnership, and laws. I believe that I need more balance in my life so I'll concentrate on that thought until the crescent Moon. Balance, balance, BALANCE! Wed. Oct. 21, 2009. Crescent Moon Keywords: Intentions, wishes, hopes Fri. Oct. 23, 2009. My computer has been out since the last post on the 20th. A load of books fell from above and spilt my coffee all over my keyboard and nothing has been working since. My son, Joe, said he had a few keyboards I could have; I made it until today and went out and bought a new one. I won't see him until Sunday. I'm a true computer freak! It seems like weeks that it's been out. Welcome to the Scorpio calendar month. |
| Sat. Oct. 24, 2009. Ah, I really appreciate my new keyboard! Today I'm going to an afternoon wedding at Hurlburt Field. I've never been on that base, so I'm looking forward to it for more reasons than the wedding. This morning I received a signed picture from President Obama. I swear, I love that man. He makes an old lady proud! I'm going to hang it up right next to my Inaugural Invitation. My intentions this month of the Libra new Moon is to try being kind and diplomatic in my daily life and to watch being so reactive emotionally. balance, Balance, BALANCE! 1st Quarter Phase of the Libra New Moon Sun. I've always told myself that at my age, I should only do things I enjoy and I'm not enjoying playing in that group. What to do, what to do? It's hard enough for me to get out for that length of time not to have any fun. Wed. Oct. 28, 2009. Looking over my aspects for Monday, no wonder I was so unhappy. You may overstate your case or run into others who lack mastery of their subject. Big talk and big words get attention, but can create expectations that are difficult to fulfill. Use this time to study, to fill in the gaps in your knowledge and discover whether your theories are fact-based or faith-based. You may have information someone else wants, or perhaps they're withholding some from you. Be very careful in what you do share, because seemingly inconsequential bits of data can have an extraordinary impact. Small issues can take on great importance. If you're upset, try to stick to the facts. Any powerful emotions that are set off have been working underground long before now. The mind is critical and sharp, with a tendency to focus on what's wrong, rather than appreciating what's right. I carry with me always the opposition from Jupiter in the 1st to Pluto in the 7th. Whenever anything fills in that t-square to Venus I'm very vulnerable to relationship boo boos. I should have watched that closer; I wonder if it would have done any good? |

It's rainy, cool, and damp here in NW Florida; perfect Halloween weather. I think everyone should read Robert Wilkinsons take on HALLOWEEN. He always puts things in their right perspective. Some fellow named, John, who works at Golden Almond is coming to look at my computer today and getting rid of all those error messages that appeared once AOL techs got finished with fixing it. So to everyone today, a great big MUHAHA! Taurus Full Moon Mon. Nov. 02, 2009. Keywords: Signed, sealed, and stamped. The full Moon was beautiful last night. I watched it rise in the East sky and, when I got up around midnight, the outside was glowing with moonlight. I love full Moons. I recalled that the Pleiades are high in the sky at midnight this time of year. Today is bridge day. I'll be downtown all afternoon. |

Keywords: Accept, forgive, allow. It's been a while since I've had much to write about. We have some kind of disturbance called, "Ida" in the Gulf of Mexico. I don't think it will amount to much, but we put some things away to let the wind blow in the treetops without blowing breakables around. I've finished my fourth course of my Doctorate and I have three more to go along with a Dissertation. So, I hopefully will finish next year sometime. I'm enjoying the course work so much, I don't really care how long it takes. Along with the Doctoral courses, I'm taking a course on the Torah at a local church, and a course on Thich Nhat Hanh's writings. I studied his works many years ago, but feel in need of a review. I'm taking it on E-Courses@SpiritualityandPractice.com. This is my third course with them and I feel that it is a great part of my spiritual devotions. This morning I also started a yoga course on-line from http://www.kundaliniyoga.org/classes.html. So, again I'm very busy and keeping off the streets. Truly, the last quarter of life is the best! Would I kid you? Today is my friend Buz' birthday. I wish him love, light, and peace wherever his is. Tues. Nov. 10, 2009. Our town is like a ghost town today; schools and government buildings closed as well as the air force and other federals. It's grey outside, but we missed the hurricane which landfell around Mobile. Today is Friday the 13th; I think it was considered unlucky because it was the day Jesus died? I'll have to look that up. Oh, there are lots of answers; click on the blue date for some. I, for one am staying home. Yesterday was my bad luck day; I scratched a car pulling into a parking place. I have to call the insurance company today. I feel sorrier for the lady I hit; she just got her car in July. Mine's an old Toyota with plenty of scratches that I didn't do...honest! Sat. Nov. 14, 2009. Transiting Mercury made a T-square to my Sun/Mars and I went to Living Word church for their 2 1/2 hour church service. First and last time; too long, too gossipy, and too wrong. She said that 33rd degree Masons worshipped the devil. Ye gods, that's even too much for this narrow minded area. I quit looking for a church here until I'm led. Sun. Nov. 15, 2009. Animus Dream: I dreamed that I had to call the police to my home for something. A bunch of them came, but this one very tall one put his arms around me and gave me the best hug of my life. A few of the others made sarcastic comments, but I didn't care; I felt so loved. Great dream. |
