Most Astrologers I have known believe in the symbolic life. We believe that life speaks to us in symbols,
synchronicities, signs, numbers (which are symbols, too), music, art, nature, seeming coincidences and,
most deeply, in a supreme force called God, Great Spirit, Allah, Elohim, Lord, Father, or Father/Mother who
speak to us through those occurrences.
That the Sagittarius new Moon falls on the celebration of Thanksgiving is not only an auspicious sign, but
a wonderful message that "we've done good!" How interesting that one of Barack Obama's books was,
"The Audacity of Hope", hope being a major quality of the Sagittarius heart.
The 6th degree of Sagittarius (Sun, Moon, Midheaven) says,
You are a crippled man teaching a group of boys in the art and practice of athletic competition. Much can you do
for others that you are unable to do for yourself. You are endowed with great love for humanity's advancement and
your labors to this end hold great promise, if you care diligently for your strength of mind and body. You may, at
times, imagine yourself more ill than you really are, your imagination being the ailment itself; so live simply and
without fear. Always is your mind ahead of your body, calling for great performance. Don't be impatient for your
project's development; learn the necessities of time. You are a critic; mind well that your words are not harsh, lest
your purpose fail. Travel and study are nourishing to you. Let not your servant suffer. Chandra Dhi Manthri
Wow, a very poignant message for any of us, but with the Midheaven involved, it is speaking to our leaders.
How very good it is to see the three major religions come together in Thanksgiving prayer. Sagittarius
rules inclusive, world communication and what could be more inclusive? Let us all include ALL in our
Thanksgivings today.
Pluto entered Capricorn last night at 9:06 pm EST. Here we go!
Keep HOPE alive in your hearts and be glad. Happy Thanksgivings...
