Sun; Jan 04, 2009. Some say it is much harder to forecast for oneself than for strangers. I don't think so.
I've always found it fairly easy to forecast for myself; I've been with myself for so long.
Anyway, here is my 2009 forecast using numerology, Sun transit Ascendant, progressions, and transits for
the year. Going all the way back, my 8 years have been, 2000, 1991, 1982, 1973, 1964, 1955, 1946,
1937, whoops....that's it! Ye gods, I'm old! I'm at my 8th 8 year; 9th if you count my birth year.

opposite of 8. No wonder I'm often confused. OK, let's start with my chart today: Sun conjunct Ascendant!

At the bottom of the chart, I've written just a few of the aspects that I've noticed. _t means transiting.
The Sun conjunct Ascendant can only be good. Wherever the Sun is, there is light. So, my persona, my
shoulds and oughts, how I view the world, and my safety net are all being lit up so that I can "see" myself
better. Some years I close my eyes to this; I don't want to see myself. This year, the eight of my eights, I do.
The Moon is the Midpoint of Venus Saturn occurring in the House of communication, neighbors, my
sister, and my brother. Ebertin says the principles of Venus/Saturn are inhibitions and sufferings in
love-life. With the Moon involved he says emotional depressions caused by unsatisfied love...a woman
living a lonely life. Wow, I guess this will be quite a year, huh?
Nodes square Uranus Ebertin says are upsets experienced with others. With Uranus in my 4th, I can
only guess that upsets will be with family; perhaps a move or other drastic change. So, who isn't
experiencing that? It could be a job loss or income cut. Yep.
So, as if Pluto hasn't reflected enough in my life for the past few years, he now comes along to transit
t-square my Moon/Saturn opposition. Ho Hum....let's have a pity party! Most of y'all know what that
means. I'm not even going to put it down on paper. It lasts until October 2010. The less said, the better.
I'm drawing in change that will be good for all concerned and leaving the difficulties to my Lord. Remember
the last time that the transpersonal planets Uranus and Neptune hit this point? I came out of that
experience smelling like a rose; it was tough, but it was goooooooood.
Saturn transit square Chiron....I haven't done a lot of work with Chiron so I'd better pass on this one. I'm
hoping it will mean that I have a chance to learn more about healing.
At the same time, Saturn will quincunx Venus who rules nearly everything in my chart; Sun, Moon,
decan of my Ascendant, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 9th houses. So, that's telling me that I need to make some
adjustments in all of those departments; communication, home, children, learning/philosophy/spiritual life.
Harumph, it says NOTHING about diet! Now, perhaps, THAT was Saturn square Chiron! Ok, so be it.

1. Sun in 11th House of group endeavors, money from career, hopes and wishes (never did get this one)
step children, etc. Since I am a natural 5th house Sun, this is really foreign to me; I don't do well in groups, I
get no money for my work, and hopes and wishes don't seem to belong to the detached House of
Aquarius. So, there is something that I really need to learn this year; something that is foreign to me.
2. The Sun has just passed a conjunction to Mercury and square to Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune. If there
were such a thing, we might say that the Sun was void of course. The very first applying aspect the Sun
makes is the minor semisquare to Venus. Venus is at the furtherest point away from the Sun at the
semisquare of 45 degrees. The last major aspect was conjunct Mercury. The next applying major aspect
of the Sun will be the square to Ceres in Virgo on May 25th. This could be a very good time to nurture
myself with a diet and exercise (Leo and the Sun rule the 2nd House and Virgo rules diets; Ceres rules
nurturing).
3-4. The rising Sign is Cancer (the degree exactly opposite my natal chart) and its ruler is the Moon in the
9th House of foreign affairs, travel, higher mind and education. The Moon is conjunct Uranus so life may
present a few surprises along those lines; a surprise or unexpected trip; an ah-hah experience, learning
something new and different. Juno is conjunct the cusp of the 9th House and speaks of one's husband. My
husband is a Pisces, so I would expect him to be involved with this period of time (the 2nd week of
September and/or the 2nd week of March). Saturn is also in opposition to Juno on the 9th House cusp.
Saturn rules the 7th House of one's partner (s).
The Moon/Uranus is sextile the Sun so I would expect an opportunity to present itself. In Pisces the
opportunity could possibly be one of service, compassion, or sacrifice.

the concerns of the above 1-4 notes. I do have my suspicions about what may happen, but I also have my

Aug. 4, 2009. Looking this over, the most dire thing that happened to me this year so far is my fall in
Miami on July 14th when I thought I broke my kneecap. Interesting that the only aspect in the SR is
transiting Sun conjunct Pallas in the 1st House. SA Pallas was square my natal Venus and SA Mars.
Something saved me as I didn't have a break; only a bad bruise.
