SCORPIO full Moon Wesak Festival 2009 Friday May 8, 2009. Keywords: Signed, sealed, and stamped
The Scorpio full Moon will rise tonight with the setting Sun and each night thereafter will rise about 52' later. Tonight is the best view of the full Moon which occurs on May 9th from EDT Eastward and May 8th from CDT through PDT. At 0 degrees longitude, it will occur at 4:03 am on the 9th of May. I'm a bit dyslexic so I struggle on figuring this kind of timing. It may be totally backwards. I remember that it's always later the further East one goes. The Sun rises in the East and travels Westward so dawn is sooner in the East making it later in time. (Puff, puff, why is this so hard to retain?)

Sat. May 9, 2009. I stayed up late to view the Scorpio, Wesak full Moon last night. I just realized, though, I watched it in Eastern Daylight Time! Ye gods what a dork! I hope that Buddah et al. waited for me. I get scared even in my back yard. I have lots of woods and bushes on the sides and I always hear schootching around over there. We have raccoons, snakes, coyotes, rats, scorpions, and huge spiders down here even in back yards. My dog barks like a fool every time I let her out at night. She gets spooked, too! I read a beautiful piece on Obama this morning. It's worth reading: http://www.visionarylead.org/articles/Obama.htm
Monday May 11, 2009. At 11:30 CDT this morning President Obama made an announcement that Health Reform was being dialogued with a forum of interested individuals representing the drug companies, AFA, the unions, etc. Congress will be forming the bill to be presented as soon as possible. It's really interesting that in the Scorpio New Moon October 28, 2008 the Sun/Moon was in the 6th House of health and now, six months later, the Scorpio Full Moon brings about the announcement of the Health Reform being a distinct probability.

NEWS about Health Care Reform. Indeed, I am grateful that the Speaker has promised to have the Health Care Reform on the floor before the Congressional break in August 2009. Note, however, it is only promised to be on the floor. Now is the time to write Congress concerning your feelings on Health Care Reform. Don't dawdle; this is too important! Make your thoughts known!

Mon. May 18, 2009. "Monday, Monday, so good to me..." Today is bridge day downtown. Yesterday was a memorial for dear Jim Fuller in Destin. D'Vine sang and a lovely lady named, Phyllis Hasty, also sang some beautiful numbers while accompanying herself on the piano. D'Vine is a trio from Atlanta and wow, can they belt it out; gives me shivers. It was such a lovely memorial for such a lovely man. Tues. May 19, 2009. Happy Birthday to me! Len, my husband, took me to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch. I really love their salad bar. When we got home, he turned on the TV to see what was going on with the stock market. They were talking about the bill passing concerning credit cards. I was so happy to hear that although we pay our bills every month. Two women on there were chatting and, of course, had to find something negative about it. One said, " ...but won't that hurt the people who live right and pay their bills on time?" Ye gods and little fish; couldn't they be happy for those who can't pay their bills on time every month? It reminded me about how different we all feel about certain things. I don't feel disadvantaged at all and I'm happy for those that this bill will help. Too, I think its only right that people know when their rates go up. I'm blessed and grateful that I'm able to pay my bills on time; certainly not "right" because of it and, to partially quote an old saying: Paying on time is its own reward!

Fri. May 22, 2009. Here it is Friday already and I've had nothing to say. I had an MRI yesterday and, after 45 minutes, nearly screamed. That is the most awful machine! I thought the cat scan was bad. They're checking a lump in my neck. I'm not sure that I won't have to go back in because I didn't finish the test. I'm almost at the point where I feel like stopping all pills, treatments, and going back to smoking, drinking, and carousing! Only kidding Only two more days until the new Moon in Gemini. Maybe things'll liven up then. Taurus is just plodding along. I need some more clippity clop in my life!
