| The Virgo Ingress occurs when the apparent Sun reaches 0º 00' of Virgo on the tropical Zodiac. The tropical Zodiac begins at 0º Aries on the first day of Spring every year. Virgo is a mutable Sign which means that it is the changing Sign between Summer (Cancer and Leo) and Autumn (Libra and Scorpio). The tropical Zodiac is seasonal, not constellational meaning that it follows the Seasons, not the constellations in the sky. Read HERE. The Ingress chart covers a period of the 30 or so days that the Sun is in that Sign. The House that the Sun is in becomes the area of most importance for that area during the Solar Month. As the Virgo Sun is conjunct the 4th House cusp, home security is most important for this month. The Sun is making a quincunx to Jupiter high in the chart. As Jupiter rules other countries (7th House) we have to make adjustments to our security assessments. Mercury, the ruler of the 1st House of our citizens is in sesquare to Jupiter in Aries making our enemies (those that hate us) talk aggressively and warlike. With Mercury just going retrograde, we have time to sort out how we're going to meet this aggression in the future. It is, possibly, not the time for boasting or bluffing; it's a time to take stock and be cool like the Fonz! |
